Delete your Open Galaxies War account

Open Galaxies War by Damian Diaz. You can delete your account and its data at any time, from the app or without it.

Option 1: in the app (instant)

1. Open Open Galaxies War while online.
2. Tap Settings (Systems) in the main menu.
3. In the Account panel, tap Delete, then confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately, and you are signed out.

Option 2: by email (no app needed)

Email deam.diaz.developer@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email of the Google or Apple account you sign in with, and include your callsign. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, write from any address and we will confirm the account is yours another way. We will confirm it's your account and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, then reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your commander: callsign (which becomes free for others to take), faction, portrait and settings
• Your colony, buildings, research, ships, resources, Data Cores, VIP and battle pass
• Missions, rewards, in-game mail, battle reports, rankings and PvP record
• Your alliance membership and every alliance chat message you posted
• Your raid and action history, your notification tokens, and the players you blocked
• Your Google or Apple sign-in record in our Firebase Authentication. Deleting in the app also revokes the game's Sign in with Apple access. After an email request, remove it yourself in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.

What we keep, and for how long

• Purchase records and the Data Core ledger (order IDs, products, what they granted, refunds). They are linked only to a random ID that no longer connects to any profile. We keep them as long as accounting, tax, refund and fraud-prevention obligations require (up to 7 years), then delete them.
• Reports you filed about other players, as moderation records, linked only to a random ID.
• Crash reports and usage statistics that aren't linked to your account. They expire on their own after at most 90 days (crash reports) and 14 months (statistics).
• Server logs, for about 30 days.

Unused Data Cores and active VIP or battle pass time end with the account and are not refunded. To stop VIP billing, also cancel the subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the game account doesn't cancel it.

Guest players

If you never signed in, we hold no account for you. Your progress is only on your device: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Open Galaxies War, to erase it. On iPhone, delete the app.

Delete some data without deleting the account

You can change your callsign and faction in the app. To have other data erased or corrected, or to get a copy of your data, email deam.diaz.developer@gmail.com as above.
